These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and limitations related to engaging with Wild at Heart Rescue, whether as a donor, volunteer, supporter, or community member. By interacting with our organization in any way, you agree to follow these guidelines and acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

1. Organization Overview

Wild at Heart Rescue is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife native to Mississippi. Our mission also includes public education and assisting federal, state, and local officials with wildlife-related matters.

3. Donations and Financial Support

Wild at Heart Rescue relies on public donations to fund our operations. Donations made through PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, or other platforms are voluntary and non-refundable. By donating, you acknowledge that:

  • Donations are used at the discretion of Wild at Heart Rescue to fulfill its mission.

  • Designated donations (e.g., for specific supplies or projects) will be used as closely as possible to the donor’s intent, but exact use is not guaranteed.

  • Wild at Heart Rescue is a registered nonprofit, and donations may be tax-deductible. Donors are responsible for consulting their own tax advisor.

4. Volunteer Participation

Our organization is staffed entirely by volunteers. By volunteering, you agree to follow all safety protocols, training requirements, and instructions from Wild at Heart Rescue representatives. Some volunteer roles, particularly those involving direct animal care, may require prior experience or approval. We reserve the right to deny or terminate volunteer participation at any time for safety, conduct, or performance reasons.

5. Supply Donations

We accept physical item donations based on our established wish-list to ensure safety and usefulness. Please contact us before donating items not listed to confirm they are needed. All donated items become the property of Wild at Heart Rescue and may be used or disposed of at the organization’s discretion.

6. Public Education and Community Interaction

Our educational programs and public content aim to promote awareness and conservation of Mississippi wildlife. While we strive to provide accurate and current information, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all educational materials.
